Stephen J. Kinney, 20, of Westport Island, died in Bath. He was born in Damariscotta on Sept. 13, 1987, a son of Ann M. Kinney. Steve attended Bath and Wiscasset Schools. He was employed at Wiscasset Ford and later at the Finest Kind Car Wash in Brunswick. He enjoyed playing basketball, football, and disc golf, going ATVing, and spending time with his family and grandfather, Papa Hodgdon, who predeceased him. Steve also enjoyed having bonfires with his friends. He is survived by his mother, Ann M. Kinney and her longtime companion Scott Soule of Wiscasset; brother, Travis S. Padilla of Wiscasset; maternal grandmother, Sarah L. Hodgdon of Westport Island; maternal grandfather, Arthur R. Kinney of Gorham; aunt and uncle, Carol and Andy James of Wiscasset; cousins, J.J. James and Jesse James; and many great aunts, uncles and cousins. Visiting hours 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Tues., Sept. 25 at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High St., Bath. Funeral 1 p.m., Wed., Sept. 26 at the United Church of Christ Congregational, Congress Ave., Bath. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bath. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the American Legion, Congress St., Bath. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stephen J.
